Hello Charlotte Pride Band’s first ever Jazz Band!
It is so exciting to be making our debut as the 2023 Charlotte Pride Flourish event. Uptown will be extremely busy and it is important to five yourself time for travel and parking. You all should be extremely proud to be making history for the Charlotte Pride Band. Thank you for all of your musical gifts, time and friendship given to the Charlotte Pride Band!
Call Time: 1:30 pm
Jazz band members will need to arrive to the Atrium to setup for our performance time at 2:40 pm
Location: 301 South Tryon
The Flourish event is located inside the Atrium of the Wells Fargo Plaza. Use this pin if you are unsure as to where the Atrium entrance from Tryon is located.
Parking:
There are several parking options and will may reach capacity. I have listed a few options starting with the closes to the Venue.
199 E M.L.K. Jr Blvd - This is the parking lot that is attached to the Wells Fargo Atrium.
200 S College St - LAZ Parking, This is the second closest parking garage you will need to cross 3rd street and make you way to Tryon.
301 S College St - Use this address for the entrance (198 E M.L.K Jr Blvd) This parking lot is third furthest from he venue and you need to walk up MLK Blvd, cross college street up to Tryon.
Dress: Black Bottoms and Black Band Shirt.
Black shorts are suggested for members playing pep pop up performances. Full bill/brim hats are also encouraged.
Load in: 10 AM 8/19/23 at the Atrium Loading Bay
Stands and equipment can be loaded into the venue early. Time for load in will be 10 AM August 19th. Contact Christopher Belarde if you need anything to be taken to be loaded in.
Stands: Bring collapsible/folding stand.
A limited number of stands will be brought. If you need a stand please contact Christopher Belarde.
