Our Mission & Vision
The mission of Charlotte Pride Band is to provide an open, inviting environment for musicians of all ability levels while promoting the value and respect of LGBTQIA+ people in the Charlotte metropolitan area through quality musical performances.
We believe that music can bring together any community. We intend to provide the highest quality performances we can for the enjoyment and support of the community at large so that one day we live in a diverse, supportive community that’s welcoming to everyone.
This member portal serves as a helpful place for band members to get information and interact with the band. You can find our master schedule, music for printing, Board contact information as well as an avenue to pay dues electronically.
The Band will use two avenues for all communications on a consistent basis throughout the year. Those are the aforementioned member portal and through a weekly email. Band members are expected to check these two avenues of information regularly to ensure that they are up-to-date on the information that they need.
Rehearsal Attendance Expectations
The success of Charlotte Pride Band depends on the consistent attendance of its members. Members are expected to attend at least 80% of rehearsals in preparation of a concert in order to participate. Participation in a performance after exceeding the number of allowed absences is at the discretion of the Artistic Director and Assistant Director. Absences should be reported 24 hours in advance to Crystal Kaiserling, Personnel Manager, at email@example.com.
Band members may feel free to contact any member of the Board with questions/concerns, though primary contact for band members should always be to firstname.lastname@example.org.
